Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey
2.0

A fun light read? No.
A very good and romantically well written? No.
Please. Everything was great in this very book except the baby girl part. I'm going to insert an image in the next slide because I can't put what I have for thoughts into words (slide right-check my instagram).
- The novel started really promising. The characters were good, funny even.
- The chemistry between them was lovely.
- 'Fake dating' trope is always my go BUT I think I like the 'childhood crush' in this book too.
- The banter is hilarious.
- Georgie was very blah. She was a small town girl, struggling to be taken seriously as a clown. She was a virgin but loves Dale (her vibrater) and in love with her older brothers BFF: Travis.
- I found Travis, though hot, a bit annoying and cocky. The dude really calls himself, as everyone else do, Two Bats . Srslyt!!! And what even made it worse for me is the way he's in bed HE goes "You're about tp meet your God." Bitch zip it.
-Too many “baby girls”.
-The dirty talk is sooooo cheesy and cringe. The sex scenes were even cringier. I mean I HAAAATE THEM.
- I though this was a 'brother's bestfriend' romance. I didn't see any bestfriend relationship. NON EXISTENT
- I did also find the MCs were portrayed as somehow immature. WAY TOO immature.

Now you must say that I hate the book entirely. As mentioned above, no. I still enjoyed and it distracted me from some work and it actually was my second read after my reading slump and since it wasn't that good, it made me want to pick another good romance just to forget about Fix Her Up. See; it wasn't and isn't that bad after all.
