At the Mountains of Madness: And Other Tales of Terror by H.P. Lovecraft

5.0

For some reason, though I've certainly been familiar with the basics of his mythos for years (through geek osmosis), I'd never actually read any of Lovecraft's work before this. Now, I'm wondering what in the world took me so long. Great, bizarre stuff, and while I can understand that his dry style might not work for everyone, I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more of his stories from here on out.
