This book follows four siblings, who were close during childhood, thanks partly to their in-and-out mother taking them on road trips. Now, life and arguments have gotten in the way. Each sibling is embedded in their struggle. Gemma is questioning her fertility treatments. Connor is a writer reeling from his recent divorce, which is causing writer's block. Roddy is a professional soccer player whose final season puts his upcoming marriage in jeopardy. Jude is the sibling who appears to have her life together, so she plans a weekend in North Dakota for them all. What the other siblings don't know is that Jude is harboring three secrets. As the weekend unfolds, the siblings must grapple with their shared past, uncertain futures, and the secrets that could change everything. Overall, this book is okay. It was slow-paced and flat. This book and its characters talk in convoluted circles.
