This was a beautiful read. The author did a fantastic job illustrating these poems. While some were very straightforward, and were exactly what I had always pictured in my head - the others, and in my opinion the best ones, were the ones he went in a wildly different direction, but it fit so perfectly. To be completely honest, there were a few pages I would gladly own as prints to put on my walls at home, if it were an option.
Highly recommended. I think this would work well for those that enjoy poetry, as well as for those that are not generally poetry fans - as the illustrations add an extra bit of beauty to otherwise well loved poems.
