It was a very good read, I enjoyed the madness - honestly it was a little silly. All of the main characters were very interesting I think each of them would do well with their own stories told. The ending was great I’m very happy with the way it ended, tragically “beautiful”. My main gripe, which is why I gave it a 3.75 instead of a solid 4, was how some of the monologues were just a bit too drawn out. I know the flowery language was how the stories were written back then, and no one can disagree that the writing is beautiful. But it just feels like the writer could have avoided a lot of the over explanation. So even tho it was a quick read, I found myself putting it down quite often due to how repetitive it often felt. Still I enjoyed it!
