In the style of Major Pettigrew's Last Stand and A Man Called Ove, this wonderful book warms the heart in some fairly predictable ways while tossing in the occasional didn't-see-that-one-coming. I enjoyed the audiobook and would recommend this to anyone in the mood for a slower-paced character-driven tale.
