Hickory Dickory Dock by Agatha Christie

3.0

Umm... that's it? It was certainly a case of finishing a book without knowing that you are on the last page. The thing that most disappointed me was the absence of the final speech where Hercule Poirot connects the dot and the killer gets angry, the 'aha!' moment. Did Agatha Christie stop writing this book halfway, then remembered about it one day, crisscrossed some happenings and finish the book, ticked it off her to-do list. The lovers united at the end is only a classic moment when there is something stopping their coming together in the first place. If Hercule Poirot series was an anime, this book would be a filler episode. Some of the scenes and actions were just clearly see-through, "I see what you did there.(*wink**wink*)." How is the 27th book in the series worse than any of the beginning books, how?"
Waste of time. Wouldn't recommend.
