I enjoyed the writing style , quick witted and filled with a lot of interesting retrospectives by the narrator who is recalling a time during from her early adult life. I feel like alot of books with an unlikeable main character are hard to get through because you start to just get so annoyed with them you don’t want to hear their perspective anymore, but the author did such a good job of presenting this in a reflective, self aware way, that you don’t really hate the main character  Rachel for being generally awful and selfish.
