Jingle Bell Harbor by Tracy Brogan

5.0

Such a treat!

Drew, once known as little Junior, now not so little but broad and handsome, is probably Bell Harbor's most eligible bachelor and can't believe his luck, when his high school dream girl is back, complaining about missing her vacation more than about her inevitable break-up.

Kelsey works for the worlds second largest christmas store, meaning she's practically contracted to be jolly. That's why she wanted to escape christmas by going to Hawaii for a romantic vacation. But things changed and while she has to go back home to Bell Harbor to help her grandma after an accident, her self-absorbed boyfriend without hesitation decided to enjoy their anticipated romantic escape alone and makes her question not only her relationship but also her job and jer life...

What a perfect, cheesy little christmas romance.
The idea of someone sick of christmas is well done here, the bachelor auction is also nothing new but meeting quirky Fontaine again made it a lot of fun. Plus there's Dody, also known as the funniest grandma walking around, Bell Harbor's very own TMZ, the first to deliver the news but rarely having the details right.

Adding his stalker-bachelorette and her dickish boyfriend with his unexpected proposal and the huge misunderstanding this is full of cliche but I loved it. There were some moments of frustration, though. Most of all with her.
A predictable, cheesy romance wrapped in festive atmosphere is just exactly what I want.
