The Sandman by Lars Kepler

dark tense slow-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? No
  • Loveable characters? No
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Will I be reading the next book?
No. I thought the characters were horrible, the story was okay, and it bored me to no end. I finished it because when I realized I was not going to like this, I was already half way so I thought to myself that I gone too far to back down, that I might as well know the end.

I was not shocked nor impressed.

Also, can we stop putting r*pists in position of authority? And IF you really insist on adding this to your storyline, can you not justify their gross actions by 'having incontrollable pulsions'? ACCOUNTABILITY. Thanks.
