The most beautifully written book I have read, as well as one of the most immersive and realistic (I mostly read fantasy lol).
The setting was perfectly described and was almost more important to the story than the chatacters themselves. I really felt like I traveled the 19th century Russia.
The realness of every character made it interestingly unpredictable and naturally tense. The characters where nuanced and consistent in their flaws but not close-minded to other personalities.
I also hated almost every one of them and found the story really boring.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
