Air Traffic: A Memoir of Ambition and Manhood in America by Gregory Pardlo

4.0

IMO this was mis-marketed as a memoir--I found it to be a series of personal essays, and if you go into it with that mindset you'll be more satisfied. I really like his writing style and his reflections. It reminded me in a way of Negroland by Margo Jefferson, in that it is about the African American upper/educated class.
