Wonder by R.J. Palacio
5.0
Want to get your heart melted? Then this is the best book. It's an extremely unique book that is heart touching and will definitely motivate the tears in your eyes to befriend gravity.
You can't blend in when you're born to stand out.
This quote on the cover of the book itself motivates anyone to read it after picking it up. The book is about the journey of an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face, who is home-schooled his whole life and is now taking a step into the real world. He faces a lot of difficulties in the real world, few of his classmates pity him while are rest are cruelly unkind towards him. His parents are totally supportive and so is his protective elder sister.
The book is written from different perspectives thus helping the reader understand the various characters and their emotions. Auggie's journey is not easy, no doubt about that, but the way he handles life is great. We get to learn a lot from this book. The read gets sad at times, but it has a few pit stops of humour too.
Overall, it's an extremely positive read, and is recommended for people of all ages, anyone who is feeling low about life just pick this book and start reading it, the pages turn pleasantly.
