Heaven Looks a Lot Like the Mall by Wendy Mass

3.0

when tessa is knocked unconscious during a game of P.E. dodgeball, she wakes up in a mall of dreams. each store represents something in her life that she feels badly about or isn't proud of. ultimately she learns that she can get beyond these things, and decide to be a different person anytime she wants to.

i thought this laid it on pretty thick- "you sparkle, tessa!" but i can see younger teenage girls enjoying it. also, novels in poetry don't ever seem to make it onto my favorites list. such is life.
