Thanks for an ARC from the author provided by TRSOR PR to read and review.

Winter and Finn had a compelling story dying to be told. This is my first by this author and I was swept away. Finn starts the book deep in mourning for his dad. A situation caused his dad to have a heart attck and die and Finn was close to him. He see's Winter sitting in a diner and feels an attraction for her. Only problem is, he used to date Winters sister for years. I agree with Winter when she feels having a relationship with Finn is taboo, and her sister is not well so she doesn't want to add more stress to her sisters load. Winter has always had a crush on Finn though and despite her best intentions they end up having a one night stand. Months later though neither one of them can forget the other but Winter is trying to ignore Finn. I really enjoyed this book. Finn had a deeper side in his player persona that shined which made his play for Winter about more than sex. Winter evolved in this book beautifully, like a butterfly leaving the cocoon. She matures, and learns to help her sister help herself instead of leaning on Winter for support. I recommend this to anyone who loves contemporary relationships, and mixed race couples. Overall entertainment is four stars.
