The Inconvenient Love by Briar Prescott

4.0

Very cute. Lots of UTS. Issac confessed to his childhood love after high-school only to be hard-core rejected and told he's like Max's little brother. He goes to college out of state to lick his wounds and now 6 years later the two are reunited. It was fun to see Max drool over Issac and be an adorable idiot about his attraction to him. But I kind of expected more from Max. Described early on as a man who "knows what he wants, and he’s not afraid to go after it." I kept waiting for that moment that would push this from cute second chance to epically romantic. Waiting for an absolute grand gesture or rainfall of wooing. It never made that breech, but still a fun read that stood very well as a standalone.
