Invincible Iron Man: Ironheart, Volume 1: Riri Williams by Brian Michael Bendis
3.5
I wanted to get acquainted with Riri Williams before we first meet her in the MCU this Summer in Wakanda Forever.
Riri is a fifteen year old prodigy who loses some loved ones in a traumatic event (is it even Marvel if someone isn't lost in a traumatic event?). She's a massive Tony Stark fan and has already invented her own armour when she receives word that Tony wanted her to have something VERY important indeed (please sweet baby J let this also happen in the MCU).
Meanwhile at Stark Industries, someone very unexpected has turned up to run the show in Tony's absence, and there are, predictably, a couple of new villains in town to take care of.
I loved this, I will try to follow this series (the library is brilliant for ordering graphic novels!)
