Oh book peeps, this is one messed up read!! 😅 This was my first by Jason Nickey, and it won’t be my last! 🙌
Jack Buckley is one messed up kid with a serial killer for a father, who he admires and later becomes obsessed with, and not in a good way. 🤢🫣 We’re dealing with difficult subjects again, so be sure to check trigger warnings! 👀
I will say Jason did an excellent job writing this as it definitely had the shock value, and while involving an icky subject, it didn’t completely turn me off from moving forward with the story. I could see how this situation could impact a young kid influenced by someone he looks up to, namely a parent. Still disgusting though! 😅
