This took me forever to complete.
Imagine a Scifi story with sentient robots, themes of friendship and found family in it. Good right? Now imagine that it is stripped of everything else it could have, like a plot for example. Not so good now? Not mentioning that it took half the book to reach to what has happened in the synopsis.
I was getting whiplash because of the sorts of things the author kept pulling from the 'random plot points' magic hat to give the book a semblance of a plot.
Great character designs though. The banter was funny and enjoyable. But without anything substantial to the plot, there was no emotional weight to it(which it tried to pull).
Overall, I didn't enjoy the book.
