I was provided an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Gia Stevens has a way of creating background characters that feel very surface level but the second their book comes out you discover a whole world behind it. I like this because if I’m reading a book about a character from their POV, i expect them to focus on their story. The universe Gia is creating is unique and fun, allowing each character set to shine in their own stories.
This book specifically, I felt like the characters were so interesting and their dynamic worked in a way I really didn’t expect at first.
