Blue Pastures by Mary Oliver

4.0

i'm not sure what to call this: is it a short story collection? a narrative-less memoir? a verbal scrapbook? regardless, it was an enjoyable window into a poet's rich mental life. oliver spends much more time on humanity's relationship with nature and the psychology of the artist instead of love, as in felicity. at times, it was a bit tedious (and even self-aggrandizing), but i appreciated the intent overall!
