For now only 4 stars let's see where the tale will lead and how the threads will be woven.
I'd enjoy a bit more detail on the excursions. All those he is from this sect and that sect just sounds like a list. I'm glad we have a glossary, but so far the author easily picked up the character that was name dropped, when they became relevant, so it's fine...
I'm not nit picking I just feel like here and there I need more.
More in depth description, elaboration, inner workings of Shen Qiao and of Yan Wushi. Doesn't matter if they are in the same space or not.
But I really enjoy that the pov is not limited to Shen or Yan.
