Daisy Haites by Jessa Hastings

emotional reflective sad tense medium-paced

3.75

didn't love this as much as magnolia parks as i felt the chemistry between christian and daisy was lacking. and i felt this book was written in a rushed way because there was just so much going on and a lot of the relationships in this book didn't feel as well fleshed out and developed. i loved daisy but i found the footnote stuff a bit unnecessary, but i understand why it was included, however, its purpose didn't really serve for me. i am so excited to see more of julian haites and hopefully, in the next few books, we get better development of daisy and christian's relationship. their whole relationship was confusing to me and the love that they felt for each was a bit unconvincing but overall, i had a fun time and definitely will still continue on with the rest of the series.
