Although some of the poems included were a little cringey, majority of this was a meaningful expression of the emotional trauma caused by abuse. I also enjoyed Megan’s petty humor which breaks up and softens the content a bit. **I found ‘oxycodone and tequila’ to be the most triggering so t(read) lightly!**
