I loved it. A very short read but it hits hard.
Toni’s eloquence and coherence comes through in more accessible ways her via her non-fiction titles like this one. This book will also serve as a very insightful and helpful guide to deconstructing the themes in some of her fictitious works like A Mercy, Beloved, Paradise, Home, The Bluest Eye and Recitatif.
I will definitely keep coming back to it.
