The Empath's Survival Guide: Life Strategies for Sensitive People by Judith Orloff

5.0

I really enjoyed this book as it touches on a lot of issues that empathic people have, most of which we didn't realize *why* we had them. Those of us who were always called "too sensitive", etc., finally have some good information as to why we are sensitive, and also ideas about how to manage this properly, establish healthy boundaries and protect our energy. On top of that, there is the focus on the pros of being sensitive-- the ways this gift is helpful to us and how we can encourage that use in our careers and lives. There are some really great exercises to help focus our energy, protect our space, and utilize our gifts for the good.
