My 10 year old granddaughter and I read this over FaceTime. She wanted to give it 5 stars. I held back for two reasons. I wasn’t crazy over the ending and there were a few parts I skipped, like the fact that Bethanys parents died in a fire. This was a little too much for my granddaughter so I simply just said they died. It was also a little much in some other respects but a fun read together.
