Dahl's story was my favorite mainly because the couple had known each other for years therefore the development of the romance didn't feel quite as rushed. I enjoyed the characters and writing in both of the other stories but felt that the novella format really limited the development of the relationships. I would have loved to see those characters in full novels so the time between meeting and falling in love didn't seem so unrealistic.
