I kept waiting for this book’s twists and turns. But that never happened. Not in a satisfying way for me. The reveals felt more like a “whomp whomp”. The premise was ok but this felt more like a classic mystery than a contemporary thriller. I will say that the building of the setting and premise was well done and the dialogue true to teenagers. So I would read more by this author. I just didn’t love this particular book.
