Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.

DNF. While the world building is rich, there are too many repetitive details that slow the plot. Cahan is a reluctant stubborn hero who consistently gets knocked out a lot, Udinny is a well traveled monk who doesn’t have common sense, and Venn is a pacifist trion who will ensure that the reader knows that they will not kill. 

Additionally, the writing style was too choppy for me to enjoy the story - a lot of fragments, odd comma placement, etc.
