I understood Alexei's worry about doing certain things. His life growing up wasn't normal. It was dark and experiences that should have meaning are nothing more than corrupted and tainted moments he wishes to forget. Having to break out of that mentality isnt easy. Add in Aurora making him want things he's never wanted, feel something he's never felt, it's clear as to why it's harder for him to let go.

At times Aurora bothered me. She is this fierce FBI agent and doesn't take anything from anyone but so willingly bends to her brothers. I would have liked her even more if she stood up to them more. She's a grown woman, an FBI agent and they treat her like a child. Yes, something happened when she was five, but to treat her the way they do, annoyed me. She doesn't talk to them for a hour and they go on a man hunt for her.

Truths are revealed and it takes some time for them to be accepted. The ending feels a little rushed after the buildup through out the story.

This story took me a while to get into. It was a little slow at times and repetitive at points. (The prologue was in chapter 18) It sets the story for Raphaels book early on and it's going to be interesting to see how his story unfolds
