I wanted to read this right away and post a review to say thank you to the Goodreads First Reads program. It was a quick read, as the book is comprised of illustrations and vignettes about fairy tale characters who now live in the technology-laden world of 2013. It is a book for adults, not children, and at times it was too crass for my taste. That being said, it is full of satirical humor, which made me laugh. The first entry for Alice (of Wonderland fame) was one of my favorites in the book:
"Alice drank her tea and scanned the news online. Even she had begun to believe that what she'd 'seen' down the rabbit hole was just a figment of her imagination. She'd since majored in neuroscience; the human brain was fascinating!"
