Wow wow wow. This book was so heartbreakingly amazing but I don’t know if I’ll ever recover. I NEED book 2 asap.
The banter, the flirting, the everything was so so amazing in this book. I was smiling and laughing but also crying so much.
The trials reminded me of The Hunger Games but were unique in their own interesting ways. I was never bored during them at all.
And WOW that ending. I actually can’t. I think I sobbed for the last 20% of this book because I’m so heartbroken. I’m so scared for book 2. I just have such a terrible feeling. I know that nothing will ever be the same between these characters after this book and that hurts me so so much.
Definitely recommend. Such an amazing ya fantasy and definitely a new favorite of mine. But be prepared to cry. Like literally I’m warning u.
