How to Take Smart Notes: One Simple Technique to Boost Writing, Learning and Thinking – for Students, Academics and Nonfiction Book Writers by Sönke Ahrens

slow-paced

2.0

Read because several people said it changed their lives. I expected too much and should've read the reviews here before starting. It's very academia-focused, but I'm a writer who does in-depth research and reporting, so I thought it would be helpful.

It is extremely tedious reading. The writing is repetitive and too theoretical that I could not imagine how to put it into practice, which is nuts because that's what the book was supposed to do. I don't recommend it if you want to implement the slip-box method; you're better off watching a YouTube video.
