I loved every single word of Black Flamingo. Dean Atta is a wonderful author who combines a lot of different topics in Black Flamingo that are dear to my heart and he makes sense of them as a whole. IBlack Flamingo felt like a hug that said: “You make sense, all of it makes sense, makes you!” 
I’m so thankful that I stumbled upon this beautiful cover thinking “that’s the one I wanna take home with me this time!” 

Wonderful read for the rest of Black History Month!
