Beauty's Punishment is the second book in Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy, Let’s just say that Anne goes where some fear to tread. This book covers Beauty journey down to the village where he life and that of the other slaves are once again push to the limits. Yes, I fully understand that some will not have liked some aspects of this book, but you need to put your mindset away before starting this is fiction and not what every would be seen in RL. If you are unable to just let, go of what we take as normal then maybe these books are not for you. I read these books when Anne first published them and gave enjoyed rereading them.
