Confessions of an Economic Hitman was a pretty informative book that offered a new perspective on some of the shady dealings the US did to screw over other countries. If you weren’t annoyed with imperialism before, you probably will be after reading this. It’s almost hard for me to believe just how rotten the government has been for so long.

I did have one complaint that ballooned as the story progressed. I think the personal section of the story became too dramaticized. It’s pretty evident the author is not a good person and he starts to feel remorse for his actions. He proceeds to continue participating in the system while simultaneously lamenting about how remorseful he feels for participating, even though he had many opportunities to back out. It’s frustrating to read, and I could do without it.
