very interesting, heavy subject matter re:Weinstein and all but also DAMN about how many times this story tried to be killed. i'm going to be thinking of this whenever News Media Conspiracies come up because like.. there aren't 20 powerful people sitting in smokefilled rooms illegally deciding what the news is gonna be, but it sure seems like there's a few powerful people who legally hang out a lot and casually drop mentions about what the news shouldn't be or else. also i cackled at the part about how a PI was hired to follow jon lovett around but gave up because he was too boring
