I found this to be a difficult read, especially the passages written in the POV of the religious cat and the young girl, which I had to skim to get through. I decided to finish it because I wanted to know the ending but I was really disappointed by it being DID. It felt like a cheap trick I’ve seen in multiple horror movies and books, rather than an answer to a layered mystery. Honestly wish I just didn’t finish it at all.
