This book was an interesting read! I loved the plot twists and the time travel. I have never read a time travel book before this and I found it genuinely interesting and mysterious. I always found myself wanting to read more. I did however find the main character Skye/Blue really hard to relate to and some of her mistakes annoyed me but I find that with a lot of characters! The moments that shook me hard were when the audience found out the missing girls had been taken to future New York by Misty who left them there to die and when Bo died! The whole premise of the world ending via a Gamma Ray Cloud I found quite terrifying! A moment I also found quite gruesome and hard to read was when (future) Griff died… I definitely think this novel has made me intrigued to read more from Matthew Reilly!
Graphic: Bullying
Moderate: Death
The bullying in this book was very severe and I found quite hard to read as well as the bystanders doing nothing about it! One particular death scene in the novel was also quite gruesome and hard to read. Overall, the book wasn’t too explicit but there were a couple of scenes that were quite graphic.
