So many tropes I love all tied up with characters I loved and an engaging plot. Taryn was what every "sassy" heroine should be - funny and witty and stubborn, but in the appropriate time and place and not constantly even though it makes no sense. The girl can read a room and has more than one personality trait. The only big flaw for me was the POV. I loved getting snippets of both but I really didn't like how it switched back and forth paragraph to paragraph. I found it jarring and sometimes confusing. I would much prefer delineated POV switches.
