nikco 's review for:
Loving Captivity
by RK Munin
This book felt gross for the first 75%. Humans are rare and are treated like actual dogs. Going in I knew this had a bit of spice and it was so uncomfortable reading about a guy who buys a pet and you know he’s going to have sex with it.
The last 25% of the book is chaotic as hell. Every character who had experienced any growth just reverted to stupidity. It was like the author felt like it needed something else and just picked a handful of tropes to insert into the end.
I still do not know what a Talin looks like. We get a couple really vague descriptions of this race but not enough to really know what they look like other than they have weird teeth, don’t show emotions, and are covered in plates that make noises.
Major issues with tense in this book to the point where it is distracting.
