I was so incredibly excited to read this, but when I started, I discovered that I had forgotten too much of [book:Binti|25667918] to understand much of what was going on. So I paused to read this review, and I'm glad that I did, because in addition to being reminded of the plot of the first book, I learned a lot about its political implications that I had largely missed.

And now this wonderful sequel. I don't even know what to say about it. Usually while reading, I am fighting boredom, listening to music to keep my mind occupied so I don't just stop reading, and I check the percentage on my kindle, anxious to finish the book becausing having read it seems much more appealing than actually reading it. And this is one of the few exceptions and I'm sad that I finished it and it was really good.

Also, best cyborg story ever.
