The Briar Club was a bit of a challenge for me, even on audio with a narrator changing up accents to distinguish between the characters. The book has a lot of moving parts, INCLUDING THE HOUSE ITSELF AS A NARRATOR. It lost me for bit in the middle, but did eventually rope me back in. Not my typical time period for historical fiction but ultimately did enjoy it. The interview with Kate Quinn and Saskia Maarleveld at the end of the audiobook was a nice addition! My first Kate Quinn novel and looking forward to exploring her more!
