I bought this book because I recently started running again and I wanted to see if this book had any good tips. However, it's not so much a "how-to" as it is a blog/journal-type book on how the author went from being a complete couch potato to running a marathon in four months. The author has a spunky writing style (though she does repeat herself a lot) that kept me interested throughout, and it was actually kind of inspiring in a weird way. So, though it wasn't what I expected it to be, it was still a pretty fun read. I'd probably give it three-and-a-half stars, if half stars were allowed.
