The Capture

I have redeemed myself by giving belief to the wings of the young. Blessed are those who believe, for indeed they shall fly.

This has to be one of the most underrated fantasy series out there. The worldbuilding from Book 2 onwards is crazy! Character development is consistent and the plot is enthralling.
Book 1 in the series has its dull moments. It took me an entire month to get through it. This might have to do with the fact that I have already watched the animated version so I was ready for Soren and Gylfie to find the tree.
One thing that I absolutely adored is the characterization. No character is made perfect, yet they are all admirable in their own way. Even the evil sidekicks have their quirky personas and moments of usefulness, making not a single character appear disposable.
