The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky

4.5

I absolutely love multi-faceted books filled with metaphors and complex, compelling characters. Read this for the first time years ago and honestly did not internalize it as much, and after rereading and after rereading, it's now one of my favorites.

The middle could be so much better though (and FD himself knows that). What really made up for it all was the ending.
