Wow! I loved this book! It was such a beautiful love story. Big city girl, small town boy. Like a Hallmark movie but better. I loved the characters. Alexis and Daniel felt so human to me. There were rarely moments where I didn’t understand why they were behaving the way they were. I also think the book did a good job explaining the cycle of abuse which I wasn’t expecting. I thought this would be a cute, fluffy romance, but it was so much more.I’m so glad Alexis was able to stand up for herself by the end and I loved it. Definitely a new favorite read for me!
