The Wallflower and the Running Back by Ginger Scott is book 2 in the Final Score series.  If you like opposites attract, football, fake dating, and college life books then you will love this book.

Rachel is a smart curvy scientist who dreams of becoming a chemist. Her plans to study abroad in Germany fall through and to make matters worse she finds her boyfriend and best friend in a compromising position, she is left heart broken.

Logan plays college football and is close to making it to the NFL.  He finds out that he is not doing well in chemistry and decides he needs a tutor. Rachel is asked to tutor Logan and reluctantly agrees on the condition he goes as her date to the science ball.

I loved this book and is my favorite in the series. I loved Riggs and Rachel’s relationship. I loved their connection and how they supported and brought out the best in each other.  I enjoyed watching Rachel go from wallflower to becoming so strong and standing up for herself.  I highly recommend this book. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
