I struggled with this one...
The plot, the characters, and the underlying theme were pulpable and strong. However, there were times where I didn't know where the story was heading--the main plot would get jumbled and lost. Overall, though, I was invested in Dodo's story and wanted to see it through. Because of the theme and strong characters in this book I gave it a 3.
